This event, for Bensalem residents only, takes place Oct. 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Bensalem Community Park. Limited enrollment.

Hosted by Mayor Joe DiGirolamo, Bensalem Council and the Bensalem Township Parks and Recreation Department, this event has been designed to replace the Family Affairs Under the Stars while still providing residents the opportunity to enjoy the “great outdoors” and time together as a family.

Pre-scheduled activities are provided for attendees’ enjoyment, and others are available at their leisure. Activities include a fun haunted house walk through, pumpkin patch, mini golf, Mad Science Spooky Halloween show, bingo for kids and early trick-or-treat candy. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.

Call 215-633-3616 for a registration form. Leave your name, address and phone number, and state which registration form you need (Family Fun Fright Night, Scarecrow Contest or both). Cost is $10 per family. Check or money order made payable to Bensalem Township. Must pre-register by Oct. 3.
