Kin, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all-inclusive wellness and support center providing free services through its unique 360-degree care model to cancer patients, their caregivers and local oncology healthcare workers across Bucks County, announced that partnerships are open for the 2nd annual Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry Month, set to run from Aug. 15 through Sept. 15. Kin is currently seeking the most popular restaurants and bars across Bucks County to join this month-long event.
The Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry Month has a dedicated webpage at welcometokin.org, where participating partner locations are listed with a logo and hyperlink to their business. As a visual indicator, all participating locations will receive a partnership window decal to display, as well as branded table tents. For those interested in getting their restaurant or bar involved, email [email protected] or call 267-544-5981.
How it works: When people throughout the community order a designated appetizer, entree, drink or dessert from a participating restaurant or bar, a percentage of their order will benefit the local cancer community through Kin Wellness and Support Center. People can eat, drink and be merry while both supporting local businesses and the cancer community at Kin.
“There are hundreds of amazing local family-run restaurants and bars in Bucks County who are looking for ways to support their community,” said Keith Fenimore, executive director and founding member of Kin. “This month-long event was created to give them an outlet to give back without asking them to do anything other than run their day-to-day business. Last year, we raised $25,000, this year we hope to raise even more.”
