Lenape Valley Foundation hosted its 15th annual Golf Outing on June 17, at Doylestown Country Club.
The event, co-chaired by LVF board members Robert Marchand and Joseph Nolan, attracted 131 golfers and raised more than $66,500. Proceeds from this year’s event will support the opening of the Bright Path Center, a new behavioral health crisis center in Doylestown that will greatly improve the environment and quality of care for children, adults and families who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The center’s groundbreaking took place in May and it is scheduled to open in 2025.
For more than 65 years, LVF has provided compassionate assistance and hope to thousands of children, adults and families in Bucks County. LVF offers a comprehensive behavioral health system serving individuals within the service areas of mental health, intellectual disabilities and early intervention. The foundation’s mission is to partner with members of the community encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges as they pursue their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life.
