Bensalem High School seniors Teniola Onilari, Oluseyi Oduntan and Esther Blaise are hosting a shoe drive to collect gently-used footwear for developing countries around the world, and also fund a senior scholarship at BHS.
A community drop-off event at Bensalem High School, 4319 Hulmeville Road, is set for Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drop off shoes by the flagpole.
So far, thanks to support from BHS and other schools in the Bensalem Township School District, the trio has raised over 1,500 shoes. The goal is to raise a total of 2,500.
