Bucks County Community College is hosting a Culinary & Hospitality Open House on Wednesday, April 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Founders Hall Lobby on the Newtown Campus, 275 Swamp Road.

Attendees will learn more about Culinary Arts degree and Baking and Pastry Arts certificate programs, which prepare individuals to compete for various entry-level culinary positions in restaurants, bakeries, lodging, catering, institutional food service or hospitality management. Attendees will also learn about the Hospitality Management and the Event Planning and Management degrees, which prepare students for careers in the tourism/lodging and meeting/event planning industries.

During the open house, attendees can also tour the state-of-the-art culinary facilities, meet chef instructors as they hold demonstrations in the kitchen, sample cuisine prepared by Bucks culinary arts students, and talk to current culinary and hospitality management students and alumni. The Admissions Department will be on hand to provide information and tours of the campus.

Registration is not required for this event. For more information, contact the Department of Business, Innovation & Legal Studies at business@bucks.edu or call 215-968-8227.
