“Growing Dahlias” is the featured program at the Trevose Horticultural Society’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. at the Bensalem Senior Center, 1850 Byberry Road, Bensalem.
Penn State Master Gardener Terry Fulginiti will showcase the beauty of dahlias and strategies for successful growing. Learn about popular hybrid varieties, forms and sizes and how to implement a plan for your own garden, growing stunning dahlias to enjoy in your home or to share with others.
Fulginiti has been a Penn State Master Gardener since 2001 and has grown dahlias for 25 years. She is the owner of Dahlia Acre, a hobby turned into a small business that grows and sells specialty cut flowers, both wholesale and retail. Fulginiti is a member of The Greater Philadelphia Dahlia Society, The American Dahlia Society and the Association of Speciality Cut Flower Growers.
