St. Dominic Parish, in the Holmesburg section of Northeast Philadelphia, on Jan. 21 continued celebrating its 175th anniversary by inducting eight individuals and three organizations into its first Hall of Fame class.
Among the inductees was Sister Shaun Thomas Callahan, IHM, who served as principal at the school from 2007-14 and who has been principal at Bensalem’s St. Ephrem Elementary School since 2014.
The Hall of Famers were recognized during the 10:30 a.m. Mass and at a luncheon at Marian Hall.
The Rev. Brian Connolly, the parochial administrator, blessed the framed certificates given to each honoree.
St. Dominic plans to make the Hall of Fame inductions an annual celebration. ••
