The trustees of the Bucks County Bar Foundation are taking the opportunity of the celebration of their 20th anniversary to recognize, honor and praise extraordinary members of the community whose selfless acts of service, giving and volunteerism have made a meaningful contribution to the community.
The foundation intends to present the following awards:
- Service Award: Recognizes a member of the public who has made significant contributions to their community through selfless, altruistic service to charitable, religious, civic, governmental and/or educational organizations. This recipient works on behalf of others without being motivated by financial or material gain.
- Veterans Award: Recognizes a member of the public who has demonstrated philanthropic support and selfless service to members of the military services and their families.
- Justice Award: Recognizes a person, entity or organization who has advanced the ideals of social justice in the community at-large. This recipient will have encouraged a greater respect for the law and fostered a greater respect for the rule of law.
“We will present these awards at our 20th Anniversary Gala being held on April 18, 2024, at The Buck Hotel, as an acknowledgment of the sacrifice and appreciation of their time, devotion and dedication for those that often go unrecognized,” said Jefferey Liebmann, Esq., president of the Bucks County Bar Foundation.
The foundation is seeking assistance from the community in nominating individuals whom they believe to be deserving of the above-mentioned awards.
