The public is invited to see exquisite Victorian-inspired holiday displays during the fourth annual Victorian Holiday House at the Grundy Museum, 610 Radcliffe St. in Bristol.
The museum is once again partnering with Jimmy Bason Gilpatrick, proprietor of Bristol’s Bird of Paradise Flowers. Its latest partner Lenox China will feature displays in the dining room. Additionally, in collaboration with Bristol Riverside Theatre, there will be a themed tree and surprises referencing A Christmas Story. Guests who attend any of the free Victorian Holiday House tours will receive a coupon discounting the purchase of play tickets for A Christmas Story.
Opening night of Victorian Holiday House is Friday, Dec. 1, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Holiday music will be performed by harpist Gloria Galante. Light refreshments will be served in the garden on the museum’s South Lawn.
Space is limited for opening night and Victorian Holiday House tours. Register at grundymuseum.ticketleap.com. Registration is required and tickets for tours are timed. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
