Pickering Manor, a nonprofit nursing home and senior living community in Bucks County, is holding its fifth annual Sips n’ Suds event on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. at Rafters in Newtown. The fundraiser will highlight Pickering’s 60th year of providing quality care. Last year, over 100 people attended and enjoyed drinks, gourmet food and dancing.
Guests can bid on a variety of items in the silent auction, including tickets to Wicked at the Academy of Music, designer handbags and foursomes of golf at private courses. Additionally, there will be a wine pull with a vast selection of wine and spirits that attendees will have a chance to win.
Kicking off the event at 6 p.m. will be a cocktail hour with exclusive tastings from Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The event is set to be a fun, casual atmosphere with live music, dancing and gourmet food stations. The highlight of the event will be regional craft beers, as well as distillery and wine tastings from vendor sponsors: Tito’s, Lautenbacher Brewing, Desiato Vineyards, Triumph Brewing Company, Triple Sun Spirits and Five Saints Distilling.
Tickets are $75 per person, which includes all food served. There are still sponsorship and vendor opportunities available. For tickets and sponsorships, go to pickeringmanor.org and click on “Community and Events” or call Maureen Kuhar, director of development, at 215-968-3878.
