The sixth annual Girls in STEM Day, hosted by the Fighting Robovikings, is set for Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Archbishop Wood High School, 655 York Road, Warminster.
All Brownie and Junior girl scouts of the area are invited to attend and enjoy activities related to STEAM. Since the FIRST robotics competition theme this year is related to art, it’s also the theme of this event. Brownies will earn their “Painting Badge” and Juniors will earn their “Drawing Badge” at the end of the event. They will also see a demonstration of competition robot “Chippy” and have an opportunity to drive it.
