Bensalem Police are investigating a theft that occurred on Oct. 7, at approximately 12 a.m. at the Sunoco located at 3419 Street Road. It was reported that an unknown male stole over $1,500 from the PA Skills Machine inside the store. The suspect was described as a black male, wearing black pants, a black long-sleeve sweatshirt, gray sneakers and a black face mask. Home Depot theft

Bensalem Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Home Depot located at 900 Rockhill Drive, on Oct. 7, at approximately 8 p.m. It was reported that an unknown male stole approximately $200 worth of merchandise and fled the area. The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a green backpack and carrying a reusable shopping bag. Kohl’s theft

Bensalem Police are investigating a theft at the Kohl’s located at 2325 Street Road, on Oct. 16, at approximately 6:20 p.m. It was reported that three unknown females entered the store and took two large suitcases and two Adidas bags. They then filled those bags with makeup, perfume and clothing, totaling over $2,600. Bensalem Police are investigating three subjects who stole from the Target located at 800 Rockhill Drive, on Oct. 12. It was reported that two unknown black males and one female entered the store around 6:30 p.m., selected several clothing and bedding items and fled the area in a black in color vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus. Bensalem Police add proactive patrols to houses of worship

In light of recent hostilities overseas, the Bensalem Township Police Department is reassuring the Jewish community and all religious denominations that it’s committed to keeping them safe during this difficult time. The department has added patrols to houses of worship and will have an increased presence in communities of faith. Bensalem Police are not aware of any specific threats to religious institutions or their members at this time. Residents and members of religious communities are asked to remain vigilant and to immediately dial 9-1-1 if they observe any suspicious activity.

Bensalem Police recognized as IACP premier agency

The Bensalem Township Police Department was recently selected by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and profiled as one of the elite agencies in the country, which has over 18,000 departments nationwide. As part of this recognition, Bensalem Police was showcased in the IACP TV Leadership Film Series at the 2023 International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference in San Diego. IACP TV provides this platform dedicated to profiling the elite of the law enforcement community and is dedicated to the dissemination of excellence in policing.
