State Reps. Perry Warren and Shelby Labs provided a State Transportation Committee update to TMA Bucks members, partners and stakeholders at the breakfast event on Sept. 29 at Northampton Valley Country Club.
Warren and Labs discussed the current state of transportation funding with the sunsetting of Act 89 funding, and some of the biggest obstacles to the establishment of sustainable state funding for both highway and public transportation.
They also took questions from the audience and asked for suggestions on ideas they can bring back to the committee for a larger discussion.
Warren represents the 31st Legislative District while Labs represents the 143rd.
Univest was the sponsor of the event.
