Bucks County Conservation District announced the following events:
Get to Know Your Basin, Friday, Oct. 27, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. (drop in anytime), PA Boulevard Complex, Feasterville: Lower Southampton Township recently completed a basin retrofit at the Pennsylvania Boulevard industrial complex. Come talk with BCCD about the form, function, good housekeeping and maintenance of a naturalized stormwater basin. Light refreshments provided.
Drip, Drop, Stop: Drain Responsibly, Saturday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to noon, Tent Pavilion, Central Park, Bensalem: A combination of stormwater education and DIY water management for the homeowner. Refreshments provided. Ready-to-use rain barrels will be raffled and participants will leave with native plant plugs, courtesy of Friends of Poquessing Watershed.
