Proceeds raised by NOVA Thrift Shop go directly to supporting victims of child sexual abuse, sexual assault and other serious crimes, and stopping violence in the community through prevention education. The Thrift Shop is one of the largest revenue sources for NOVA, surpassed only by the federal and state government. The Thrift Shop relies on donations from the community. Keynote

On Thursday, Oct. 12, at The Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, 1304 Veterans Hwy, Bristol, the LBCCC is hosting its next keynote, networking and breakfast program. Networking is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and the program is from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Jody Hagemann, senior director, sales engineering at Comcast Business, will present “Cyber Security.” Technology is accelerating faster than it ever has before, giving IT and security teams more tools to fend off cybersecurity attacks. However, the tactics attackers are using to access systems are also growing more sophisticated by the day. Join Comcast Business and Hagemann as she gives context around common ways that cybersecurity attacks arise and unfold, and what you can do to protect yourself and your business.

Hagemann has over 20 years of product management experience in telecommunications, specifically service operations design, new product/feature launch, product to product migration and life cycle management. She is a graduate of SUNY Cortland, with a BA in communication studies and an MCIS in communication/information technology from Rutgers.

There is no charge for LBCCC members to attend. Cost for non-members attending their first keynote is $20.
