Bucks County Center for Independent Living and the League of Women Voters of Bucks County are partnering in two events to offer students and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to experience the voting process and learn about their rights as a voter.
“Voting is Your Superpower” takes place Monday, Aug. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bucks County Community College – Main Campus, Rollins Center, Gallagher Room; and Monday, Sept. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bucks County Community College – Epstein Campus.
Participants will experience in-person voting using the county’s voting equipment, under the direction of the Bucks County Board of Elections. Voter registration and educational materials on voting, including mail-in voting, and voting rights of people with disabilities will also be available.
