The Doylestown Arts Festival is returning for its 32nd anniversary on Sept. 9-10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. It’s free to attend, and is designed to illuminate the region’s ongoing commitment to arts and culture. For two days, the historic downtown Doylestown streets are transformed into a lively outdoor marketplace full of art and music from local and regionally recognized creators.
Founded in 1991, the Doylestown Arts Festival has supported independent artists and musicians for over 30 years, while drawing attention and tourism to the local community. This year’s festival offers familiar favorites to long time attendees and a vibrant experience for those new to the area and visiting from afar. The street festival showcases a curated lineup of over 150 artists, 40 performances across five stages of live music, live art demonstrations from painting to glass blowing, and activities for all ages to enjoy.
“When I think of the splendid moments of growing up in Doylestown, and the reasons why I set roots here as an adult, the Doylestown Arts Fest is atop both lists. If you haven’t experienced the culture and fun of the Arts Fest yet, you should,” said Christopher Baccash, Doylestown Borough resident.
