SCORE Bucks County is offering five free webinars in August in a continued effort to keep the local business community informed.

“IRS Clean Energy Vehicle Tax Credit and Other Key Updates” takes place Aug. 1. Led by IRS senior stakeholder Leslie Chambers and Richard Furlong, the discussion focuses on key tax-related updates, including: clean vehicle tax credits; form 100-K third-party payments; employee retention credit scams.

“Launch Your Business with Customer-Focused Marketing” takes place Aug. 8. Felicia Shanken, CEO/founder of the Philadelphia Women’s Network Connection, LLC., discusses what new entrepreneurs need to reach their audiences and grow their customer base. Shanken will share insight on: creating a compelling brand; defining your audience; converting customers; building loyalty and advocacy.

“Pinterest for Beginners” takes place Aug. 15. Led by social media strategist and trainer Alia Hammond, the session sheds light on what Pinterest is, how to get started and how to determine if it’s the right marketing tool for your business.

“Office Hours with Amazon” also takes place Aug. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. Amazon representatives discuss the ins and outs of selling in Amazon’s store, their resources for small businesses and entrepreneurs, and opportunities to build a business with Amazon.

“ChatGPT, Artificial Intelligence, and How They Can Help Your Small Business” takes place Aug. 22. Led by SCORE mentor Charlie Morris, a retired software developer and technology executive, the session focuses on ChatGPT’s capabilities and specific use cases for it in the small business environment. Morris will discuss: how ChatGPT works; how ChatGPT can help a small business be more creative and efficient; the AI software’s limitations and weaknesses; other emerging AI tools and what they will mean for small businesses.
