The Bensalem Township Police Special Investigations Unit conducted a series of controlled illegal narcotics purchases from Kevin Baker Jr., 21, from Sandy Lane in Bensalem. Search warrants were obtained for Baker’s residence on Sandy Lane, as well as an apartment in Hamilton Court Apartments, 3455 Street Road, Bensalem. Both search warrants were executed at 10:50 a.m., on July 6.
Baker was taken into custody at his residence on Sandy Lane and items were seized, including US currency, a large amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, dab oils and high-end watches. The search at Hamilton Court Apartments yielded a money counter, drug paraphernalia, edible “gummies,” THC cartridges and a large amount of marijuana.
In total, the Bensalem Township Police Special Investigations Unit seized 15 lbs. of marijuana, over 200 THC vape cartridges, numerous edibles and over $120,000 in US currency.
Baker was charged with Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and related charges. He was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone and remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $7 million bail.
