On June 14, Bensalem Police were contacted and made aware of a threat toward a teacher at Bensalem High School.
School district officials and Bensalem Police immediately began to investigate the threats and discovered that a 15-year-old female student was responsible for the threat because she was upset about her grade in class. Bensalem Police Detectives quickly determined that the teacher was not in any immediate danger and that the student did not have access to any weapons.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and charges against the juvenile were approved. She will be charged as a juvenile for the crime of Terroristic Threats.
