Sesame Place announced that Sesame Summer Splash runs June 19 through Sept. 3. Guests can enjoy the all-new Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores water play adventure with spraying jets, water curtains and a spraying water tower, along with the new Big Bird’s Beach, a newly-themed tropical land dedicated to water fun in the sun.

They can also enjoy Sesame Street-themed attractions, photos with favorite furry friends and entertainment, including the Sesame Street Party Parade. There’s also a lineup of special seasonal events.

“There are so many ways to have an amazing summer in our park with exciting celebrations, parades and, of course, your favorite Sesame Street friends,” said Cathy Valeriano, park president of Sesame Place Philadelphia.

Highlights of Sesame Summer Splash include:

‘Welcome to the Party!’ Debut: On Saturday, June 24, Sesame Place is introducing the all-new character stage show Welcome to the Party!. Season pass members have early access to the premiere show at 12:30 p.m. Guests can join their favorite furry friends for a red carpet debut and day-of star-studded fun.

July 4th Fest: From June 29 to July 4, celebrate America’s birthday with favorite furry friends. Elmo is available for meet and greets in his patriotic attire, and on July 4, guests can watch the “C is for Celebrate” fireworks light up the sky above the park.

Tango’s Gotcha Day Celebration: On July 15 and 16, celebrate Tango’s one-year anniversary at Sesame Place. Festivities include Tango’s Treat Seek, exclusive meet and greets with Tango, and a themed scavenger hunt.

Christmas in July: Visit the park from July 20-25 for a Christmas in July Celebration, where holiday cheer meets summer fun. Holiday-themed activities include Santa’s Christmas in July Dine with Elmo & Friends, Santa Cookie Monster Meet & Greet, and festive Christmas in July-themed photo opportunities at Photos with Elmo & Friends.

Sesame Place’s 43rd Birthday Celebration: Sesame Place is throwing itself a big, furry party to celebrate 43 years of fun. For the first time, the birthday celebration spans over an entire week. Visit the park from July 29 through Aug. 6 for an interactive Birthday Bash Dance Party, festive birthday-themed meet and greets, and Elmo’s Party Balloon Scavenger Hunt. Exclusively on July 29, the park is celebrating with a fireworks display to paint the sky red, blue and green.

Back to School Bash: Before the summer ends, experience a full week of fun from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1. Reserve the Back to School Bash Dine with Elmo & Friends, where Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count all share their favorite parts of going to school.

Labor Day Celebration: To close out Sesame Summer Splash, enjoy the park’s Labor Day Celebration on Sept. 2 and 3. Meet and take photos with Elmo in his patriotic attire, and exclusively on Sunday, Sept. 3, the “C is for Celebrate” fireworks display will dazzle.
