Woods Services, a nonprofit organization that provides care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism and emotional/behavioral challenges, hosted its 2023 Run for Woods 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on May 7, for runners, walkers and rollers of all abilities.
The goal was to raise $250,000, and Woods exceeded its goal by garnering $253,000.
Funds will support Woods Services in its mission to provide innovative, comprehensive and integrated healthcare, education, housing, vocational, behavioral health and case management services to children, adolescents and adults who have intellectual and developmental disability and mental health challenges, and who have complex and intensive medical and behavioral healthcare needs.
