On April 20, Lenape Valley Foundation hosted several Bucks County legislators from the House of Representatives and state Senate at its Doylestown office. They included Sen. Frank Farry, Rep. The representatives were invited to learn more about the challenges the nonprofit organization faces in providing behavioral health services to members of the community. Sharon Curran, chief executive officer, and Lisa Policare, president of the board of directors, presented ways the legislators can support regulatory change, staffing needs and the availability of more levels of care, with the goal of improving the delivery of services in Bucks County and throughout the commonwealth.
