On Friday, April 14, Daniel Hennigan, of Cypress Ave., Bensalem, filed a missing person’s report for his wife Bridget and daughter Danielle. He told police that he hadn’t seen them since 9 p.m. Thursday evening. Bridget suffers from anxiety and depression, and his daughter is developmentally challenged. They were last seen in Bridget’s 2011 Jetta.
On Saturday, Philadelphia Police reported that they found the VW Jetta unoccupied in the 26th District near the intersection of Girard Ave. and 2nd St. After posting the photograph on social media, Bensalem Police were contacted and told that a Philadelphia man saw Bridget and Danielle at the Lofts on the 1800 block of Arch St., Philadelphia, at 9:30 a.m. They were both barefoot, Danielle was in pajamas and her mother appeared to be in a mental crisis.
Bensalem Police continued to receive numerous tips, many centered around JFK Boulevard in Philadelphia. The family went to the area of 21st and JFK Boulevard to help with the search. While looking in an area of bushes, family members located Bridget and Danielle. Both had minor injuries to their feet from walking barefoot through Philadelphia since the previous evening. They were taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for evaluation and treatment and were set to return home with their family once that was complete.
