Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and director of public safety William McVey held a promotional ceremony in the Bensalem council chambers, with council members also present.
Corporal Andrew Zabierowski was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and will supervise one of Bensalem’s patrol division squads. Officers Katherine Bailey and Dominic Micciolo were both promoted to the rank of Corporal. They’ll be assigned to patrol squads and be part of the supervision of patrol officers on their respective squads.
DiGirolamo also swore in a new officer to the Bensalem Township Police Department: Officer Daniel Orth. He comes to Bensalem after seven years in the Philadelphia Police Department, where his last assignment was in the 26th District.
