The Penn State Master Gardeners of Bucks County are holding their 21st annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bucks County Extension Office, located on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park Road, Newtown. Rain or shine.

The sale, which features a large indoor area with ample parking, offers annuals, perennials, rare woodies, Master Gardener-grown plants, herbs and vegetables, including heirloom types, butterfly/pollinator plants, shade plants, deer-resistant plants, indoor plants, container-sized plants and hanging baskets for Mother’s Day. Native plants, native shrubs and native trees are offered through the Penn State Master Watershed Steward program of Bucks County.

Over 50 Master Gardeners and Master Watershed Stewards are available to answer questions and help with selection. Bring a wagon or cart if you have one; a limited number are available at the event.

Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Proceeds benefit the educational outreach of the Penn State Master Gardener program and Penn State Master Watershed Steward program of Bucks County.
