The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Economic Development Conference on Thursday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parx Racing, 2999 Street Road, Bensalem. The theme is “Growing the Economy in Bucks.”
Conference registration is at 10 a.m., with opening remarks at 10:30 a.m. A “Financial Markets Update” will be presented by Timothy Chubb, chief investment officer, SVP, Girard Advisory Services, LLC. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m.
Next, at noon, is “Real Projects. Real Growth. Keystone Trade Center Update” by Margie McKevitt, chief operating officer, County of Bucks; and Jeremy Michael, VP of development, NorthPoint Development.
Following a 15-minute break at 1 p.m. will be “Parx: Development Update & Business Partnerships” by Allen Strauss, director of purchasing, Parx Casino. Closing remarks are at 2 p.m.
