The Lower Southampton Township Veterans Advisory Council is hosting the 11th annual Veteran Expo at the Neshaminy Activity Center, 1842 Brownsville Road, Trevose, on Saturday, April 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees can meet and socialize with service men and women while enjoying food and beverages. Make new friends and community connections. Guest speaker will be Air Force Captain Ralph Galati, recipient of the Silver Star, P.O.W. and Career Veteran Advocate.
There will be information tables for veterans’ questions and needs. Numerous service and social organizations will be in attendance. Meet your local VFW and American Legion Post members. Chat with township, county, state and federal elected officials. Check out the veteran-owned business information table.
A yoga breakout class, courtesy of Meghan’s Foundation, takes place at 9:45 a.m. A Veteran & Spouse Symposium with Bucks County Military Affairs is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Veterans can discover the benefits that they and their spouses are entitled to. Enroll in VA Medical and recover missing documentation.
