Learn about Boone Farm April 16

Author Pat Mervine will discuss the origins of this unique 300-plus-year-old building

How many times have you passed the old farmhouse on Route 413 and wondered about its history? On Sunday, April 16, at 7 p.m., at the Richardson House, located on the corner of Bellevue and Maple avenues in Langhorne Borough, Pat Mervine, author of Boone Farm: Its People and Places in Middletown History, will share the forgotten history of this unique 300-plus-year-old building. Learn about its origin, the changes it went through and its future.

Mervine will also reveal the interesting background of its 20-plus owners: who they were, what they did, the history they witnessed, how they contributed to life in Bridgetown, Langhorne and beyond.

Once home to colonial artisans, then prosperous farmers, this property will soon become the home of the African American Museum of Bucks County.

A donation of $5 is requested at the door to benefit the museum. Books will be available for purchase.
