Pickering Manor luncheon and fashion show set for April 20

Proceeds benefit the Pickering Manor Auxiliary, which volunteers for the residents of the senior living community

The Pickering Manor Auxiliary is welcoming back its spring luncheon and fashion show for the first time since the pandemic. For over 50 years, the Pickering Manor Auxiliary (formerly known as the Ladies Auxiliary) has hosted this affair, which benefits Pickering Manor Auxiliary.

“Our vision is to provide whatever assistance we can to enhance the lives of the Pickering Manor residents,” said Auxiliary president Jane Mahler. “Our fashion show and luncheon has always been a huge success and helps tremendously in fulfilling this vision. We are thrilled that we can host this event again.”

The event is set for Thursday, April 20, at 11:30 a.m. at the Northampton Country Club. Attendees will enjoy lunch and fashions by J. McLaughlin. Tickets are $50 and the deadline to purchase tickets is March 30. For more information, contact Mahler at 215-968-2085 or email info@pickeringmanor.org.

The Pickering Manor Auxiliary was organized in February 1963. It graciously dedicates its time by volunteering and fundraising for the residents of Pickering Manor, a local nonprofit senior living community located in Newtown. Those interested in volunteering or becoming an Auxiliary member can contact volunteer coordinator Kelly Moyer at 215-968-3878.
