Thirty-two Bensalem High School students recently participated in the DECA State competition in Hershey. The team of Aayushi Patel and Aastha Patel finished fourth in their event, Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making, qualifying them to attend the DECA International competition in Orlando, Florida.
The DECA International Career Development Conference takes place April 22-25.
There were over 2,000 DECA members from across the state who competed in many different events. The BHS participants did well, with each individual representing Bensalem High School in a positive way. Their advisors Ron Morris and Ryan Tessler are proud of their work.
DECA is an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
