On Tuesday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m., Cairn University’s School of Music invites the public to join as the Gospel Choir and Jazz Ensemble collaborate in a unique exploration of the history of jazz through its African American gospel roots. This takes place on campus, 200 Manor Ave. in Langhorne.
Then, on Saturday, April 15, the Cairn Chorale invites the public to join at Tenth Presbyterian Church, 1701 Delancey St. in Philadelphia, at 7 p.m. to experience history through various texts set to music. Enjoy a diverse program led by director Dr. Steven McCollum that reflects the cultural and faith impacts these texts have made over time.
