Sesame Place invites guests to Elmo’s Eggstravaganza from Saturday, March 25 through Monday, April 10.
The theme park will be painted in pastels for the springtime event. Enjoy the Sesame Street Party Parade, meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny at the Picture Patch, furry friends dressed in festive Easter attire and more. All-new this year is Sesame Storytime — gather at Sesame Studio Theater for an interactive read-out-loud experience, followed by a surprise visit from a Sesame Street friend. This is first-come, first-served and limited capacity. Then, stop by the Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party at the Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage.
An interactive adventure awaits with the Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, happening only on Wednesday, April 5, and Thursday, April 6. Three large Golden Easter Eggs will be hidden in the park prior to opening, and the first guest to find each and bring it to the Welcome Center receives an exclusive Sesame Place prize.
Guests can visit Dine with Elmo & Friends for an Easter Dine. This experience features a buffet-style feast, storytime and appearance from the Easter Bunny. Additional fee and reservations required for Dine with Elmo & Friends.
With assistance from Sesame Street friends, a local cantor will host a special Passover Event and sing-along on Sunday, April 9, and Monday, April 10, at Sesame Street Neighborhood. All-new for 2023, this event features a Passover Storytime at Sesame Studio Theater, followed by a meet-and-greet with a surprise Sesame Street friend. The storytime is first-come, first-served and limited capacity.
Resident fairy-in-training Abby Cadabby learns that art comes in all shapes and sizes in The Magic of Art at Sesame Street Theater. Joined by her friends Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and Telly Monster, Abby is inspired to use her imagination as she creates her own magical masterpiece.
On select dates, guests can visit Abby’s Backyard Barbecue for Cookie Monster’s Donut Decorating. Cookie Monster, wearing his festive Easter attire, will join guests for meet-and-greets and photos. Additional fee and reservations are required for this event.
