Bucks County Free Library offering free virtual author talks

Hear from New York Times bestselling author David Epstein and more

Bucks County Free Library is offering free virtual talks with bestselling writers throughout March and April.

The series continues on Monday, March 13, with David Epstein, New York Times bestselling author of Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World and The Sports Gene: Inside the Science of Extraordinary Athletic Performance. Epstein’s talk begins at 1 p.m.

Additional talks include:

– Celebrity chef Jernard A. Wells, author of Southern Inspired: More Than 100 Delicious Dishes from My American Table to Yours, on Tuesday, March 21, at 4 p.m.
– Bestselling novelist Pam Jenoff, author of Code Name Sapphire, on Tuesday, March 28, at 7 p.m.
– Bestselling cartoonist Kate Beaton, author of Hark! A Vagrant and Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands, on Tuesday, April 4, at 7 p.m.
– Bestselling novelist Kent Krueger, author of nearly two dozen novels, including his latest Fox Creek, on Thursday, April 27, at 8 p.m.

In addition to enjoying a talk led by each author, viewers will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the author and may submit questions while registering. All talks will be hosted through Zoom and recorded for later viewing.
