Bensalem High School students selected to PMEA All-State

Five are performing in April with the best singers from around the state

Last week, six Bensalem High School choral students traveled to West Chester University to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Region VI Chorus. They had to re-audition and place in the top six of their section to advance to PMEA All-State. This was a record-breaking year for BHS, as five students will be going to All-State in April to perform with the best singers from around the state.

Congratulations to the following students:

– Saige Zebrowski: soloist with the Region VI choir
– AJ Ferriola: advancing to States, placed second in his section; has qualified for All-State three years in a row
– Emiliano Quinones: advancing to States, placed fourth in his section; the first BHS tenor since 2001 to make it to States
– Ethan Hinshaw: advancing to States; the first BHS bass since 2001 to make it to States
– Sara Skillens: advancing to States
– Margaret MacAdams: advancing to States
