Installation of 2023-24 NAACP Bucks County executive officers

The ceremony takes place on Jan. 30 in Langhorne

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Bucks County is installing the newly-elected 2023-24 executive officers and executive committee members on Monday, Jan. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Middletown Township Municipal Center, 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne.

Officers and new committee members will be sworn in by the honorable Judge Joseph Falcone. This event is free and open to the public. Free parking available. Light refreshments will be served.

The 2023-24 executive offers are:

– Karen Downer, president
– John Jordan, first vice president
– William Bennett, second vice president
– Patrice Tisdale, third vice president
– Nathaniel Gagum, treasurer
– Layla Myers, assistant treasurer
– Lisa Spurlocke, secretary

The 2023-24 executive committee members are:

– Umar Farooq
– Kristina Fripps
– Robyn Green
– Adrienne King
– Marlene Pray
– Barbara Stakes
– Don Williford

Its members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities. The Bucks County chapter was chartered in 1951 and pursues the same mission.
