Linda Bobrin, Esq., Bucks County Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court, is hosting the second annual Vows and Valentines wedding and vow-renewal ceremony on Feb. 14, from noon to 2 p.m. on the third-floor rotunda of the Bucks County Courthouse Administrative Building in Doylestown.

Unlike the Vows and Veterans wedding in November, this event is open to all couples, not only to veteran and first responder couples. The ceremonies will be officiated by Judge Brian T. McGuffin.

Couples will receive bridal flowers, boutonnieres, photography services, a wedding video, catering, live music and wedding gifts.

Interested couples should email emarriage@buckscounty.org and begin a marriage license application. Bucks County marriage applications are accepted online and can be started at propublic.buckscountyonline.org/psi3/marriagelicense. To participate in the wedding ceremony, couples must apply by Thursday, Feb. 9.

Vows and Valentines is part of the Bucks County Clerk of Orphans’ Court’s successful Weddings for Heroes program. Last year’s Vows and Valentines celebration attracted 16 couples for the wedding ceremony and nine married couples for vow-renewals.

Weddings for Heroes is made possible by donations of local businesses and individuals. Many local businesses offer their services either free or at a discounted rate.

Participating local vendors include: Bird of Paradise Flowers, Courtney Kanig Photography, Doylestown Wedding Studio/Cortineo Creative, Fleurish Floral Design by Bucks-Mont Party Rental, James Best Videography, The Novel Baker and Raymer’s Homemade Candies.

In addition to the wedding program and reception at the Bucks County Courthouse, a number of Bucks County District Judges will be offering wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day.

To contribute funds or services, or for more information on the Weddings for Heroes program, email Rachel Landsberg at ralandsberg@buckscounty.org. Checks can be made out to “Weddings for Heroes” and mailed to the Bucks County Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court at 55 E. Court St., 6th Floor, Doylestown, PA 18901. As part of the effort to raise funds for this wedding, the Bucks County Clerk of Orphans’ Court will be holding fundraising events at the Administration Building.
