Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Dan McPhillips is working with Philadelphia Commissioner of Records James Leonard involving complaints from residents about MV Realty, which was sued by state Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
The lawsuit states that MV Realty is misleading residents with its Homeowner Benefit Program, which offers residents with a one-time monetary payout, between $300 to $1,500, in exchange for exclusive rights to list the resident’s property if they decide to sell within the next 40 years.
Due to the alleged practices of MV Realty, McPhillips recommends Bucks County residents sign up for the Free Fraud Alert Program offered by his office.
The Attorney General’s office asks that any resident who has concerns about a mortgage recorded on their property by MV Realty contact Agent Jordon Foley at [email protected] or 717-857-2104.
