Building A Better Bensalem Together invites the public to its annual Unity Week, set for Sunday, Jan. 15 through Friday, Jan. 20.
Each year, about a dozen houses of worship open their doors, beginning on MLK Day, to welcome Bensalem’s diverse population. Each house of worship presents a half-hour service, which includes details about their faith. All attendees are invited to share in a fellowship meal/refreshments.
Residents are able to learn about their neighbors and realize some similarities in the township’s many diverse backgrounds. The public is invited to a free B3T Unity Week Breakfast Celebration on Monday, Jan. 16, at Parx East, beginning at 8 a.m. RSVP is necessary and due no later than Wednesday, Jan. 11 (email subject “B3T-UW” to [email protected]).
