On Dec. 18, at 7:20 a.m., Bensalem Police responded to the report of a gun point robbery at the 7 Eleven on Street Road at Knights Road. The robbery suspect put a gun to the store clerk’s head and stole cash and cell phones. The suspect then exited the store and fled on foot.
Bensalem Police conducted a search of the area, but the suspect was not located. Bensalem Police Detectives began an investigation into the possible identity of the suspect, whose face was completely covered at the time of the robbery. Police were able to determine that the suspect arrived at the 7 Eleven via a rideshare vehicle.
Utilizing various forms of technology, Bensalem Detectives were able to identify the robbery suspect as Victor Lanar Gibbs III, 19, of Bensalem.
An arrest warrant was obtained and Bensalem Police took Gibbs into custody at his residence on Dec. 22. He was charged with robbery and related offenses, arraigned by District Judge Joseph Falcone and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $750,000 bail.
