On Dec. 10, at 9:17 a.m., Newport Fire Company responded to a water flow alarm at Ebooksweb LLC, located at 1388 Bridgewater Road in Bensalem Township. Upon arrival, it was found to be an active fire. Multiple volunteer fire companies responded to handle the two-alarm fire.
A firefighter was injured when he fell 25 feet from the rooftop while fighting the blaze. Fire investigators from Bensalem Township and the ATF have determined that the fire was intentionally lit and is being investigated as arson.
The firefighter that was injured at the fire has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
