It’s the most wonderful time of the year for the residents of Woods Services, a nonprofit based at 40 Martin Gross Drive in Langhorne.
Motorcyclists from Northeast Riders Motorcycle Club visited Woods Services on Dec. 11 to drop off gifts for its residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Santa also arrived on one of the motorcycles.
Donated gifts included toys and games, personal care products, craft activities and clothing.
Riders departed from Stars & Stripes Harley-Davidson in Langhorne at noon to head to Woods Services’ campus. They rode along Woods Drive for the parade, which wrapped up at 12:45 p.m.
This annual event is part of Woods’ several initiatives this holiday season to bring joy to the individuals it serves.
Woods hosted a tree lighting ceremony on campus with Santa on the first of the month to kick off the holidays. The tree was donated by Kent’s Tree Service in Levittown. Santa will be returning to the campus later this season to drop off gifts from the Bucks County community to residents.
