Students who completed their Summer Learning for Brookwood, Keystone and Mill Creek Elementary Schools were rewarded with Summer Learning Ice Cream Socials.
“The goal of Summer Learning was to encourage continuous learning,” said Aimee Ramos, Title I Reading Specialist at Keystone. “We are excited for the students who did participate and are looking to honor them and their hard work.”
Rising second through fifth grade students completed one hour each of iReady reading and math for a total of 16 hours. Rising first grade students completed a summer review packet for math and literacy enrichment.
At the Summer Learning Ice Cream Social, students enjoyed ice cream, played games and were entered in drawings to win gift cards. Additionally, Keystone students who completed Summer Learning were honored at the SWPBIS assembly in October.
