Bensalem Rotary and Mud In My Cleats, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting professional and amateur athletes, partnered once again to host the annual Foot-Bowl at Bowlero Feasterville, 100 E. Street Road, on the evening of Oct. 26.
Thanks to sponsors, donations and raffles sold at the event by Bensalem High School’s community service club, over $4,000 was raised for area college scholarships for student athletes.
Attendees enjoyed appetizers, a surprise appearance from Eagles mascot Swoop and other special guests, including a few Phillies ball girls, Eagles Cheerleaders and the following former NFL players: Garry Cobb, Ron Davis, Mike Quick, Reginald Wilkes, Cedric Brown, Charles Lynch, Tim Massaquoi, Brad Quast, Dominique Curry, Bob Grupp and Joe Wilson.
During the event, former Eagle Cobb received the Greg Brown Award for community service. Brown is also a former Eagle who was an avid volunteer in the Philadelphia area before his passing.
