During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Mary Medical Center is offering a free, virtual seminar about breast health on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. A live Q&A session follows the presentation, which is open to the public.
The seminar is presented by Russell Reisner, MD, a board-certified surgeon and breast surgical oncologist with St. Mary Complete Breast Care in Langhorne. Reisner has a special interest and expertise in skin- and nipple-sparing mastectomy, advanced oncoplastic techniques and optimization of cosmetic enhancements following mastectomy.
Attendees of the virtual seminar will learn about:
– The importance of knowing their breast health
– How to be a partner in evaluating breast health
– Resources available for maintaining good breast health
Reisner received his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. He completed a general surgical residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and a surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.
