Beethoven Oktoberfest

Hear the music of the great composer on Oct. 29 at Cairn University

On Saturday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m., the Cairn University Symphony Orchestra is performing “Beethoven Oktoberfest” for the fall semester concert. Maestro Thomas Hong will lead the orchestra in this festival of Beethoven.

The evening begins with the haunting yet celebratory Egmont Overture. Pianist Benjamin Harding, dean of the School of Music, will then join the orchestra in the solemn and expressive Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor. The program concludes with Beethoven’s joyous and delightful Symphony No. 2 in D Major.

This takes place at Chatlos Chapel, located on the campus at 200 Manor Ave. in Langhorne. Visit cairn.edu/tickets for tickets and more information.
