Trevose man arrested for involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child, 8 additional charges

Gerald Malloy, of Poplar Road, has been sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $500,000

Bensalem Police have arrested Gerald Malloy, of Poplar Road in Trevose, for numerous crimes related to sexual assault of a 12-year-old child.

Malloy was on a dating app when he solicited a 12-year-old boy to have a sexual encounter with him. Malloy sent sexually explicit photographs to the child and asked for the same type of photographs in return. He then continued the conversation via text and set up a meeting to have a sexual encounter. Malloy was very explicit as to what he wanted to do sexually to the child once they met.

Bensalem Police were on located when Malloy arrived at the Neshaminy Mall for the sexual encounter and he was taken into custody. Bensalem Police stressed that no child was physically assaulted or present at the time of Malloy’s arrest. Malloy was arraigned by District Judge Baranoski and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $500,000. Other conditions of bail were that Malloy was not to have any unsupervised contact with minors or unsupervised use of the internet.

– Unlawful Contact with a Minor
– Obscene and Other Sexual Materials and Performances

– Criminal Use of a Communication facility
– Indecent Assault with Child
