Trade your once-beloved treasures for cash while fundraising for the Fallsington Library at Falls Township’s community yard sale, set for Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Falls Township Community Park.
All funds raised from the sale of table space will be donated to the library. Director Charlene Rendeiro said the proceeds will go a long way to supporting the library’s general funding, including its free community programs, which are enjoyed by about 1,500 people each year. Funds will also be earmarked for the library’s book-buying budget.
In addition to dozens of vendors selling their wares, Falls Soccer Club will man the park’s concession stand, offering BBQ, hot dogs, hot sausage and drinks for guests to purchase while perusing the yard sale. Falls Soccer will donate 10 percent of proceeds from the day’s sales to the library.
Through Sept. 15, Falls residents interested in being a vendor can reserve a table for $15 or two tables for $25. Beginning Sept. 16, registration will be available to all interested on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendor forms are available by calling Barbara Loessy at 215-949-9000, Ext. 221 or emailing [email protected].
