SCORE Bucks County, which offers mentoring and workshops to small business owners and entrepreneurs, is offering two free webinars in August.
“What’s Your Digital Marketing Success Plan?” takes place Aug. 9. Led by Donna Botti, owner of Delos Incorporated, the session helps attendees define a successful digital marketing plan. Botti will discuss: how to get the message right; how to own your presence; how to build one strategy; and how to integrate everything into one cohesive strategy.
“How Do I Bring My New Product to Market?” takes place Aug. 16 and is led by SCORE certified mentor Robert Catalano, a product development subject matter expert for SCORE Bucks with almost three decades of experience in product development and manufacturing, strategy and planning, and quality control and compliance. He will use his expertise to shed light on the right and wrong ways to bring a product to market. Catalano will share: how to ensure a great product idea is not already on the market; how to protect your idea; which professionals you should hire to help you bring your product to market; and how to research manufacturers and develop cost and feasibility benchmarks.
“IRS: Is Your Business Eligible for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit?” takes place Aug. 23. Leslie Chambers, a senior stakeholder liaison with the Internal Revenue Service, shares insight on the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, a program which provides business owners with credit for hiring people who have historically faced barriers to employment. In addition to discussing the tax credit, Chambers will cover the following topics: how to communicate with the IRS in other languages; payment options; and how to avoid common telephone and cyber scams.
All webinars are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit buckscounty.score.org to register and for more information.
