As part of Northampton Township’s lineup of 300th anniversary events, the James E. Kinney Senior Center is presenting a Flax Spinning Demonstration on Monday, July 25, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Join to explore the women’s work of the 1700s. The demonstration will focus on the many steps and skills needed to turn wool and flax into cloth, with opportunities for attendees to try it too. Presenter Ruth Konrad will guide attendees through the history and how-to of basic spinning.
